The principal, George Fellner, AIA, received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, College of Architecture and Urban Studies, and a Master of Architecture degree from The University of Florida, College of Architecture. Prior to starting his practice in 1987, Mr. Fellner accumulated ten years of professional experience with a number of architectural firms in New York, Florida and Connecticut. Mr. Fellner has been responsible for projects including health clubs, recreation centers, healthcare facilities, community centers, senior and youth centers, senior housing, group homes, day care centers, single & multi-family residential, restaurants, banquet and conference centers, fire stations, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Mr. Fellner is licensed to practice architecture in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York; is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Connecticut Chapter; and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. As a member of the AIA/CT Committee on the Environment, Mr. Fellner has lectured extensively on sustainable design issues and strategies, environmental subjects, and GeoExchange heating/cooling systems.

The staff at Fellner Associates Architects consists of architects, designers and business professionals with a diverse background, high level of academic achievement, and extensive professional experience. While Mr. Fellner is personally involved in the design and management of every project, the firm uses a team approach that integrates the individual skills of each member.
