| The program consisted
of modifying the existing classroom, office, nursery, and bathroom areas,
as well as adding additional classroom and office spaces with storage rooms.
The spatial organization was improved as well as gaining ADA compliance. The solution consists of two separate additions, totaling 1,612 s.f., which accommodate the program and minimize the impact in terms of exterior bulk. Through the use of multiple new gables which are integrated with the existing gable roof, as well as a new porch entry, there is more visual diversity in form. FAA worked closely with the Building Committee to identify the issues, develop the program, develop design concepts and alternate schemes, fine-tune the final design, make presentations to the congregation, and follow through with the construction process. ![]() |
