The East Haddam
Land Trust and the Salem Land Trust received a grant to undertake the Connect
Greenway project. The Mission is “To establish and preserve a connecting network of upland forest, field, and wetland Greenways between the Connecticut and Thames Rivers and Long Island Sound, for the protection and perpetual coexistence of plants and animals including threatened species, for the study and appreciation of our natural world, and for recreation and public enjoyment, where appropriate”. George Fellner, AIA, as design consultant, generated maps, text and graphics, art illustrations, a brochure, photographs, displays, and computer presentation materials.  |
